'It Takes A Village' photo contest | News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Another THV pet project: A photo contest to benefit the Animal Village. Friends of the Village have kicked off an ambitious photo contest, featuring the cutest dogs and cats in central Arkansas.

First prize for each of the seven divisions is $200, with second place earning canvas versions of the winning photographs. Pet gift baskets will also be given away.

The deadline for entering is next Monday, April 30. The entry fee is $10.

All the proceeds go to the "Happy Tails" adoption program.

In an effort to get more dogs and cats into homes, the program allows adoptions at half price, reduced to $45.
