Cyclists hit the bridge for Big Dam Bridge 100 | News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Thousands of cyclists in Central Arkansas have converged for the 6th annual Big Dam Bridge 100 Bike Tour and Finale Fest.
The Big Dam Bridge 100 offers a non-competitive cycling tour for individuals of all abilities.
Riders started at La Harpe in Little Rock at 7:30 a.m. and the finish line is at Main and 5th streets in North Little Rock. Distances offered: 16, 30, 50, 68, and 100 miles
The longest course goes up into Bigelow and back through Mayflower and Maumelle so check out the course maps if you plan on traveling as some roads may be closed to traffic.
After the ride the Argenta Arts Foundation is hosting the family-friendly Finale Festival to celebrate the riders of the Big Dam Bridge 100 Bike Tour at the finish line in Argenta.
Main Street will be closed to auto traffic between Fifth Street and Broadway during the Festival. Pedestrians are encouraged to enjoy the live music, craft shows, gallery walks and the good food at the many restaurants on Main Street. Festival hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
