Volunteers honored with C.R. Bates award
LITTLE ROCK, Ark (KTHV) - Several Student volunteers were honored in Little Rock Monday night.
The Kiwanis Club of Pulaski Heights held its annual C.R. Bates Spiritual Aims Awards Banquet at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
Honorees from a number of congregations around the city received recognition with a plaque and book scholarship. Each honoree also had a chance to speak briefly about past community service and their plans for the future.
The reward is named in memory of Curtis Reynolds or "C.R." Bates.
THV 11's Pam Baccam spoke at the event.
