New in theaters this week, Jude Law and Kiera Knightley star in Anna Karenina, based on Leo Tolstoy's novel about a young aristocrat whose life is changed after she begins an affair with a young count. This is the third collaboration between Kiera Knightley and director Joe Wright. They previously worked on Atonement and Pride & Prejudice both of which earned praise from critics and audiences.
The Collection is an action/horror film from the writers of Saw so you should know what you're getting into with this one. At Market Street Cinema, A Late Quarter stars Christopher Walken as the first violin of a world-renowned violin quarter who announces his retirement and causes the other member of the quartet (Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener) to reexamine their desire to stay together after their competing egos beign to emerge.
Here's a list of what's coming to Blu Ray and DVD for the weekend:

We are a couple of weeks away from the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Director Peter Jackson shot the film in 3D and at forty-eight frames per second, standard film is shot at twenty-four frames per second. The only place in Arkansas that you can see it at fourty-eight frames per second, the way the filmmakers intended it to be seen is at the McCain Mall theater. However, if you go see it at the IMAX theater you will get to see a special 9 minute preview of Star Trek Into Darkness. Tickets are currently on sale for both and you can also catch a marathon of the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy on December 8th but you better clear your schedule because it will be a 15-hour day.
