Rape reported in River Market | News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A woman reported a rape in the River Market early Saturday morning.

The victim and her sister reported the alleged attack to an officer working in the area.

According to the victim, she met a man calling himself "Shawn" at a nearby bar. In the incident report, she says she got into his car and he started to touch her. She says she told him to stop, but that he then raped her in the front passenger seat.

According to the victim's sister, both she and her brother saw the suspect. He's described as 6 feet tall weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, tan shirt, and a red hat.

Police are trying to get surveillance video from the bar.
