LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Our little buddy, Joey, received fantastic news today from his veterinarian, Dr. Terry Dew.
Joey ventured to Russellville this morning to Dr. Dew's clinic for his four-month check-up after having a tumor removed in his leg.
Dr. Dew says, "We just wanted to follow up with some x-rays to see how our bone graft is doing, and to make sure that there's no recurrence of the tumor."
You'll recall, Joey was diagnosed with bone cancer in his back left leg earlier this year.
"...It's always difficult with tumor cases to say we affected a 100 percent cure, but it certainly does look very, very good, and we would certainly expect Joey to continue to do well," Dr. Dew says.
