'Opera on the Rocks II' at Clintion Center | Arts & Culture

Local Professional Opera Company, Opera In The Rock, Presents “Opera on the Rocks II” on February 1, 2013 at the Clinton Center Great Hall.

Opera In The Rock proudly presents its second evening program series “Opera on the Rocks II” on February 1, 2013 at the President William J Clinton Center Great Hall.  The event will feature various opera scenes, a live auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

“We are elated to host our second evening program series at the Clinton Center.  It is sure to be a wonderful evening full of beautiful opera scenes from some of the greatest local talent, and being able to lookout across the amazing skyline of downtown Little Rock makes it even more spectacular” said Clementine Infante Opera In the Rock Chairman of the Board.

The live auction will include a live painting by Stephano Sutherlin, famed local artist of Stephano’s Fine Art Gallery.  It will also include other fabulous items for every taste and desire.

The opera scenes will be loosely based on destiny in light of the upcoming Groundhog Day weekend. Performers will include the local talents of Maria Fasciano, Dramatic Soprano; Kira Keating, Coloratura Soprano; Kelly Ponder, Mezzo-Soprano; Vernon DiCarlo, Tenor; and Matthew Carey, Baritone.

A VIP Ticket will include a private tour of the President William J Clinton Presidential Museum starting at 5:45 pm before the performance and a private reception and discussion with the artists afterwards.
