About Dr. Eisele

After a career in law, Martin returned to school and received his Oriental Medicine training at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. During school, Martin interned with Dr. Jeffrey Dann, an internationally known expert in Japanese Meridian Acupuncture. After completing a four-year program of study, he graduated in 2001 with a Master's degree in Science and Oriental Medicine. He continued his education in Shanghai, China at Shu Guang Hospital and the Shanghai Acupuncture and Meridian Research Institute.

Martin has practiced Tai Chi Chuan and other Chinese Internal Arts for more than 20 years.

Martin is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques (ASBART) and nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by NCCAOM (See "Is It Safe?") He was the staff acupuncturist for the Mercy Center for Natural Health, an integrative medical clinic in Hot Springs Village founded by St. Joseph's Hospital, which included acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, counseling and western medicine.

Martin utilizes Dr. Richard Tan's Balance Method and studies regularly with Dr. Tan.
